About us

JUDr. Martin Burik
Partner and executive

After graduating law school at the University of Pavol Jozef Šafárik in Košice (studied from 2009 to 2014), he worked as trainee lawyer at the Law Office of JUDr. Milan Chovanec s.r.o. based in Žilina. During this period, particularly in 2016, he successfully passed his rigorous exam and was awarded the academic title of doctor of law “JUDr.”

During his work, he has provided clients with comprehensive services in all major legal fields, particularly in the areas of civil law, family law, commercial law, criminal law, administrative law, labor law and also in the area of constitutional law.

In August of 2019 he successfully passed the bar exam and from 1. November 2019 was registered in the list of lawyers maintained by the Slovak Bar Association. He subsequently founded the Law Office BURIK s.r.o. and provides legal services as its partner and executive.

Attorney Martin Burik provides legal services in Slovak and English language.

Assistant

She is a graduate of Secondary Vocational School of Trade and Services in Martin and she succesfully completed her bachelor’s studies at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Prešov in the field of librarian and information specialist. She has been working in our law office as an assistant since 2021 and also communicates in English.

JUDr. Mgr. Jana Kaděrková
Lawyer

She studied law at the University of Matej Bel in Banská Bystrica. In 2021 she passed rigorous exam and was awarded the academic title of doctor of law “JUDr.”. She also successfully completed master’s degree in the field of applied ethics – ethical expertise and ethical counselling at the University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra. Since 2009 she has worked for Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic where she gained experience especially in the field of labour law. She has been working as a lawyer at our law firm since August 2021 and also communicates in English.
